Can someone tell me why I don't see actual pictures, rather a clock and statement to update your 3rd party hosting. In some cases, I do see the pictures. Do I need to do something?

    Thanks

You are seeing the "clock" due to Photobucket not providing free pic hosting anymore.

When you are able to see the pics, it is because the person posting has either switched from Photobucket to a different service or they paid the fee to Photobucket.

I switched from Photobucket to IMGUR and so far it has been working for me.

Photobucket doesn't allow pictures on their web site to be linked into a forum anymore which is why you don't see anything. There is a URL re-direct created by one helpful member. There is also activity to finally migrate the web site to platform that can be maintained as the software for this web site ceased to be supported over 10 years ago.

Start using imgur for photos until the site upgrade is completed, hopefully sooner rather then later.

DO NOT PAY PHOTOBUCKET FOR ANY SERVICES!
