  • Outboard shipping

Ive got a guy wanting to ship the pair of ox66s up to NC from FL. Anyone have experience with people who will do this reasonably? I do not have engine crates, but would be able to get them on a pallet and wrapped up.

I told the buyer Id help look for options for him.

I just had an engine shipped from Tampa to Destin, FL - they used South eastern freight - it was about $150

I then shipped myself fro Destin, FL to Cape cod for $475 using Uship

You may wish to call Franzen marine in Tampa and see if they have the shipping frames available for your engines, other wise they could be strapped to pallets, which I would be worried of potential damage

hit up one of your local boat dealers for a couple outboard crates. they are steel and the only way to safely ship an outboard. even the LTL carriers will have trouble screwing up on of the crates in transit. most dealers are happy to get rid of them as they just pile up.
