I have a 1970 Mako 19 which runs great but the foam is fuel/water logged and a few of her stringers are shot. Does anyone have a recommendation in the Barnegat Bay Area of NJ on which shop I should have do this work?

Talk to Nick at NuWave Marine in Deptford area. If he isn't doing that
work anymore, I'm sure he can steer you in the right direction.

I used Scott Franzoni from Marine Specialists to replace the transom in my Grady White 7 years ago. His number was 609-618-8620 and had a shop at Chestnut Neck boat yard near the Mullica river bridge. The other option in southern New Jersey is Youngs Fiberglass in Marmora. They were my second choice but wanted to use plywood in the transom and I did not. You can always go with the Mako Mac-daddy if you have a trailer and haul it up to Raybo in Long Island.
