  • Replace Old Foam? 1978 23ft

The floor on my 1978 23' Mako has been removed. All old foam is torn out. Should I put new foam in? If so . . . what is recommended (type? brand? company that sells it?)
    Thank you!!

Yes. I would definitely replace the foam you remove and do so with a 2-part closed cell foam.
Why would I pay someone to do something I could do better myself! The life best lived is through the journey of experience.

Yes I would definetly replace it, that is what keeps your boat from sinking in the event you have an issue.. There are lots of places to get it, its all pretty much the same.. Just make sure its closed cell foam. If its just floatation foam use a 2 pound foam, for more structural areas like around a fuel tank use a 4 pound foam.
