I have not ridden in a 258 or any of the Mako walk arounds, but I would suspect the extra weight in the bow will make it ride rougher when it starts to get bumpy. In calm seas I bet they are pretty similar.

I have a 253 WA. The WA probably rides a touch bow heavy vs the CC. You also sit farther forward, but not a bad ride in 3-4'
