  • 1995 232 Console update

My first post on this board. Thank you for the add. All of the discussions have helped me since I bought my mako. I have a 1995 232 powered by a 2019 250 Suzuki located on the chesapeake bay.
Has anyone done anything with the two hatches that are on your console above the wheel and throttle?
Or can anyone post a picture of their set up?
I will post mine this afternoon, I use mine for tackle storage of lures I switch out through the day but would like to see whats out there.

I had a few albums from 232's I had looked out, but deleted them all a few months back. The best console conversion I saw was the one in this old add off THT...

There are a few hulls with the C-pac style console you can also look to for ideas; 231, 241, 261 that I know of right off. When I started my 241 project I wanted to get functional and run to see what I would like and not like. I came from a 224, the family liked/used the glove box on that console, so I opted to close 1 side and see what I liked.

This is the only pic I currently have available to post.

I can say for certain I do not like trim tab control or key locations. They are in original spot and i do plan to move.

Quackman, I am looking for a glove box like yours, with the acrylic door. Did you build it yourself?

This is what I'm working with. Looking to add a glove box in the blank space to the right.

I did the whole rebuild myself. That glovebox was a bitch! But very glad I have it. Here are a couple more angles of it

Thank you. Like both of those a lot. Did you use starboard to create your white space? And where did you find the grey hatches below?
