  • Great to Be Here

Just found this site while surfing, looking for good used Makos.

Located in Melbourne Florida, enjoying the heat. You guys/gals really have good discussions. Looks to be very informative. Thanks in advance.

Currently I have a 79 Mako 19B that has alot of bilge rot, and the transom is failing. Looking to move up to a 25-ft / 26-ft, but want to stay in the Good Ol Age of Quality Makos. Can anyone tell me when the Makos started to fail on quality and what the major issues were?

    thanks

Stu, you should fit right in welcome to the club. I see you did your reading as you've already got your city & state in your signiture.
