  • small mako w/twins

I remember my neighbor having a 20 odd foot mako with twin 70's or 90's. Any idea what model this would be. I'm looking for a new project, and would like a low 20's Mako to put a couple of little 4 Strokes on.

Could be anything from a 19 to a 22. I doubt anything larger than that as twin 90's wouldn't work very well on a 23 or larger. When I was wee big I used to fish on a 22 with twin 70's. I remember it would top out at 30 mph and I have been told that they used to go billfishing all day long and only burn 30 or so gallons. I do know there was a 20 in Gainesville, FL with twin Honday 90's and the owner said it did sit low in the water.
