  • How to bring my motor home????

Hey guys, I need your help again. I need to bring my motor, everude 175 HP, from west palm to Miami. I like to bring it back on my truck. What is the best, or safer way of doing it without damaging the motor? []

built a wooden rack for it. Like they come from the factory in would be my best guess to keep it from gettin scratched up and flipped around.

You need to build a wooden rack that looks like this one... The motor bolts to the palate and then throw a strap or two around the lower unit.

If your ever in a pinch and need to transort a outboard without a crate use a couple of old tires and lay the motor across the tires. it will ride like a baby. at worst you will have a little black streak to wipe off. (unless its a mercury) dave.
