  • Twin 115s on '72 22'

Thinking ahead ... maybe way ahead ... but if I chose to put twin 115s on the back of my '72 22' will they fit?

Alot of those came with twin 70s. Twin 90s would be perfect.

Thanks, The boat is rated at 230, hence the 115s. Did they do those?

The first Mako I fished on was an early 70's Mako 22 with twin 70's. Top speed was right at 30 mph, but I do remember water skiing behind it more than once. I would think the twin 90's or 110's would be a great match.

Weight of twins factors in. I would 100% get one Suzuki 250 4 stroke and sleep peacefully.

I have twin '86 Evinrude 110's on my '73 Mako 22. Just make sure your transom is solid. They DO fit. Good luck.
