    I start a repair on a 25 HP 1977 Johnson outboard. Where can I found an online part manual or diagrams to order parts?

        Try here. It is an online parts list. I have never used their service but I have looked at exploded views for reference and parts numbers.

                  Sitting here thinking of you question I just now remembered that sometimes the public library has outboard motor manuals. I know that my town - Milford CT has a bunch of these and if you cannot find what you want they can usually get it from one of the other librarys in the area. If they can't get it they will buy it for you if you request it (and put it into the library). Check it out -
