  • Warthogs Idea

When i posted pictures of my boat last week warthog replied "that boat would be a prime candidate for a pilot house. when i first read it i didn't like it. Then i started thinking, if i keep the original lines it might be a good idea.

I like that third pic... very large-sportfish-esque.

It will look better if the area between the windows is thined up a little and be easier to see out.

The other thing is a 3in radius on all the corners of the windows.

Here's where you get the window's.

This will help on the layout.

I like the concept... But then, I'm partial to the PH design. []

I think Bobby is right though. Thinning the lines between the windows will make it look more 'open', and easier to see out of.

It is your boat, but as previously mentioned the Blackwatch 26 is a classic boat and I would really leave it as is.I think it would be a shame to add the pilot house. We just sold a 1992 model with twin 2004 Honda 225's for $40k....it was not for sale for very long.

Your idea reminds me of a Bertram 31 Bahia Mar I saw not too long ago on Boattrader. Here is the link, it might provide ideas.

My vote is also to leave it as is. Just have a nice custom hardtop built and you'll be good to go! []
