    MAKO REUNION FUNAMENT

LOCATION: Hutchinson Island Marriott in Stuart, Florida

    DATE: July 28th thru July 31st 2005

Attention past and present Mako owners. It’s been years since we’ve all gotten together. By now, some of you have changed boats and might not even own a Mako, but that doesn’t matter. Just bring what ever boat you want. Don’t own a boat? Come anyway. There will be plenty to do; golf, the beaches, shopping or just hanging out by the pool and visiting some old friends. Please spread the word as we don’t want to miss anyone.

    ITINERARY

Thursday July 28th 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Registration poolside. Island music, cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. Captains meeting. This should not take long since there are no rules. Our Dock Master, Captain Bruce Ungar will fill us in on some local knowledge and what we can expect to catch both inshore and offshore. Bring any old Mako photos you may have so we can reminisce.

Friday For those of you who want to fish we will fish all day with weigh-in

from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marriott dock. For those who are not fishing there is plenty to do in the area. Friday night you will be on your own to visit and have dinner where ever you like. There are some fine dining restaurants in the Stuart area. There will also be a live band playing in the pool area on this evening.

Saturday Morning Everything will be the same as Friday including weigh in.

Saturday Evening We will all meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Marriott Banquet Room for a buffet dinner. Prizes for biggest fish offshore and inshore, oldest Mako shirt (need not fit) oldest Mako boat (FITOA) will be hard to beat if Randy makes it) and oldest Mako plaque will be awarded.

Entry fee of $85.00 per person will be charged to cover Thursday night’s poolside entertainment and hors d oeuvres, Saturday night dinner, awards, facility rentals, gratuity and sales tax.

Make your room reservations as soon as possible @ 1-800-775-5936. Mention the Mako group for a special rate. ($109.00 per night). Reservations must be made by 6/25/05 to guarantee these rates. Dockage will be limited due to the recent hurricanes. The charge for this will be $1.75 per ft. per night. Check with the dock master Bruce Ungar at 1-772-225-6989. If he runs out of room he can direct you to an alternate location. Trailer parking will not be far away.

Let’s get the word out there to anyone you might think would like to attend this Funament. Our mailing list is by no means complete and we would like this to be a big event. Make copies and forward them to anyone you think would be interested. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me at [email protected] or call me at 1-321-508-1438. We look forward to seeing everyone and having a great time. We would like people to pre-register as we need to know the head count in advance. Please fill out the form below and send it with your check to:
