motor info for 23'__'81 cc

i am looking for advice on a new motor to put on my 1981 23' mako. I have 2 other makos and decided to repower. Any word on the new e-tec>

It is my understanding that the E Tec is a fine motor. If I could justify 15 K for a new motor, that would be my choice. On the 23 I would go with the 225 or 250.
