  • Aft Teak Hatch Help 25cc

My 1977 25cc aft teak hatches are extremely tired. They have been sanded down too many times and need to be replaced. Does anyone know what the best solution is? I would like to stay with the teak, unless someone talks me out of it. Where is the best place to get the raw teak stock or a replacement pre-fab hatch.

    Rooster,

We have a couple of exotic wood stores here in the Houston Area. If interested let me know and I will get their web address.

Seems like there are always good deals on teak on E-bay. I also wonder how Luan plywood with teak trim would hold up. It stains just like teak. Nice and flat. easy to work with. You would have to seal and varnish it real well. Just a thought.
