My bad.[}] Sorry that was posted under the Captian's Club, where yes you do have to be a member. Here's the reprint.
I needed a new windshield for my Center Console. My old windshield was scratched and cracked plus it was tinted which made it very difficult to see when running early in the morning or late at night. I wanted a new clear windshield so I stopped by and talked to a local plastic fabrication company and brought the actual windshield with me. He quoted me $478.00.... OUCH! and got 2 other phone bids from other local guys which were about the same cost. But someone (from another board) suggested I get a bid from:
Custom Mold & Tint, Inc.
1991 Hwy 425 S.
Monticello, AR 71655
870-367-7083
Attn: Danny
I emailed him pictures of the windshield with measurements and
The replacement cost was ONLY $70
They were cheaper because they already have all the jigs and molds since they make windshields for multiple boat manufacurers. Danny asked me to ship him my current windshield so he could match all angles and corners exactly.

quote:I put a custom plexiglass windshield on my 17 Cohasset Whaler and at the time the only person in the panhandle that could melt and bend plexiglass was in Pensacola. He did an awesome job and it look real good, really setting the boat off.

quote:That was over 10 years ago. I remember it was over by PJC and near I-110. I think the cost was something like $75.
