mako 25 vs 254

i have a 1984 254 and i think that is the first yr they made those. mako had the mako 25 prior to that and they seem to have the same dimensions. are there any differences in the 83 mako 25 compared with the 84 mako 254? just wondering.

the 83 mako 25 has the same spec as the 254 i do believe ....hell...maybe they are the same boat, i am not sure. i was just wondering if there was any difference.
