  • I met jcthornhill today...

I just wanted to say that it was nice to meet Jason Thornhill and his family today. I took a nice drive out to Diamondhead and checked out his 1977 Mako 21 that he is about to tackle in a transformation similiar to mine.

He's got his hands full, but it's a boat worth restoring. I was noticing how nice the lines are on that hull.

I'll be glad to come out and help you when its time to put that Coosa transom in. Like I said, I wrote the book on rookie mistakes! I may not know all the tricks, but I do know what not to do now.

We will all look forward to following the progress of this project as I believe there will be some fairly major surgery involved.

Good meeting you Jason... Glad to see I'm not alone in the world of Mako enthusiasts with brand new children and wives planning/building new houses.[]
