  • Stainless thru hulls

Anyone know a good source for stainless through hulls? The place near me wants too much for them.

Can you explain to me what is a "stainless through hull"? I’m not really sure what it is your looking for.

How much are they asking? Are you looking for threaded or barbed thru hulls?

        Barbed. I think the sizes I need are 1 1/4 and 2 1/2.

This is what I mean by thru hull. The stainless one on the right is what I'm talking about.

            Wilson,

I don't know what price you're looking at, but Shoreway Marine sometimes has good prices for hardware.

That's the place! Most of them are $10 and under.

But let me warn you, they don't have the same dimensions as the standard plastic and bronze ones. They fit very loosely in existing holes so some glasswork would be in order if you are using theme to replace something else.

My boat got Perko chrome over bronze.

No, They have a website, but you will not find them on the website. Year's ago I got an email advertising them.

Sign up with them to get the specials. Maybe once or twice a month you will get an email with the specials listed.

They do sell retail from the Donavan Marine catalog. Their prices are better than most. I bought all my hyd steering stuff thru them. I had to pay Fl. sales tax and they still beat the prices of 3 other places out of state. [no tax]

I looked there before. They are pretty limited, but the prices are great!! I think I'm too picky. I may have to pay.

I went thru this too. I opted for chrome over Bronze above the waterline and Bronze below. I haven't seen a chrome over Bronze 1 1/2in thru hull yet.

You could go Titanium if you really want the Top Dog.

Chrome over Bronze. Go down the page a little.

Picked up mine through shaeffer. The 1 1/2in had longer threads than I had seen. I don't think I paid more than $30 or so.

Went to the site and they now have a catalog. Prices aren't super low but the stuff the sell is quality.
