  • Mako 233- Suzuki 140's__performance numbers

I just wanted to share a few numbers with you all on my boat.

1993 233 Walk around full fuel (165 gallons)

    two people, normal amountof gear

Suzuki df 140's 14x22 Suzuki props engines mounted 1 hole up.

    1500 rpms 6.3 knots

    2000 7.2

    2500 8

    3000 10

    3500 15

    4000 23

    4200 27 Sweet Spot []

    5900 36

Does this look about right? I think I can move the motors up

one more hole and get a little more top end.

    Thanks

    Hey Holy Smoke,

Is that the name of your boat? If so, did you name it that or was it already named Holy Smoke when you bought it? The reason I ask is because the model year catalog has a 233 walk around named Holy Smoke in it. The graphics are in gray. Just wondering. It was originally rigged with twin 150 Evinrudes.

Those performance numbers look pretty good to me.

Yes it's the catalog boat from 1993, hull #1. I purchased it

this year from the 2nd owner. I am unsure of boats history

beacuse the catalog boat has two helm chairs and mine has a leaning

post, also the windshield is white in the catalog and the one on my

boat is black. The Graphics look the same so I am pretty sure its the

      same boat.

Do you have a scanner ? I would love to have a copy of the brochure.

I have every intention of putting many of the old catalogs I have up on the site with the help of Eddie Ring. My problem is securing a good scanner. I have plans to find of these things and do it over the holidays when things are little slower. So, hopefully around the first of the year you will be able to download them off of this site.

I've been saying things will slow down for a few year now... They just keep getting more and more hectic.[] Send them whenever you get them scanned and I'll try to get them posted here.

              Warthog,

Eddie has some pictures I sent him a while ago and I am sure

when he gets a few free seconds he will post them here.

I can't give you fuel flow numbers because my floscan is still

sitting on the shelf in the store[] waiting for my cash flow to return to normal.

I bought a Navman 3100 for my boat. It's cheaper and will tell you a lot more than a Flowscan.
