  • Need help on Suzuki 75, also correct prop size

Can anyone help me identify the year of my Suzuki outboard? The only identifying marks as to its age are the spark plug wires which say "Hitachi 1986," but since it's a rebuilt motor, there's no telling if those are the original wires.

Furthermore, if I take for granted the motor is a 1986, this site: http://www.boatingsolutions.com/how-propselect.htm , says the correct Michigan Wheel is a 13x19, aluminum prop # M00266.

Yet the current "Made in Japan" prop says 13 1/2 x 15 on it. How will changing to a 13x19 affect the performance, etc?

I found a Michigan Wheel thats 13x19 at a local consignment shop, but there are no numbers on the box that seem to mean anything.

Any help with either of these issues is appreciated.
