I understand that Proline started with Mako hulls, but early on had quality issues. Also, at some point Proline quit using wood in the hull, but when?

What are the opinions on the quality of Prolines?

I'm not so sure about that. I know one of the oldest and best proline hulls was a 24. Mako didn't make on of those back in the 70's.

Those old ones are great. they had split consoles, but were a good all around boat for the west coat of FL. They are hard to find and need lots of work.

I myself am not too crazy about any proline built in the 80's or later, but there are lots who love them.
