Ill ask which prop is on there but not sure if he knows. Do those numbers seem high, low or average. He cut a wire on the trim tabs so it was riding now high or I would expect a couple more mph if it was trimmed.

He is a little low on the wot rpm so maybe a bit underpropped as well. I am curious how the numbers compare with other similar Mako 23s.

    2500 rpm 15mph

    3000rpm 22mph

    3500 rpm 27mph

    Wot 4800 @ 37mph

    Interesting numbers, what prop?

Told him the same thing. Biggest tabs Ive ever seen. Sometimes I would like to know what the original owners thought process was. But hey they are doing the job.

Love the boat but for me personally I just wish it had more storage space.

Holy mackerel at those trim tabs. Bet he has no problem getting the bow down []

    1977 Mako 23 for sale

My friend is selling his 1977 Mako 23 inboard. He is in So Cal, Long Beach. Has a just totally serviced Volvo 5.7 in it. 570 or so hours on it. Owner is a marine mechanic. No trailer. Tuna tower. Posted on Craigslist and Bloody Decks. Ive been on it several times and boat is sold. No soft spots. Hull was just waxed and polished.
