Bought a 258 with twin 150 etecs in Michigan two months ago. I am in Tennessee. Google Mako 258 for sale. Several will show up. May have to drive to pick up. I drove 11 hrs one way but got one that has never been in saltwater. They are out there.
Yeah, its in nice shape for 36 years old. Took the OX66 off and looks like I have a 2010 F300 lined up. It will be a nice set up. Ill post some pics when it gets Installed.

Congratulations! That is a nice boat and should be pretty impressive with a F300. Please repost performance numbers when you get done.
I think this is a sweet looking boat. Somebody has put a little time and work into her. I may try to make a pit stop to see it on my way home to FL tomorrow.
I also am not sure that it is mislabeled. I know, I know, it is a 258 for all intents and purposes. But, if you look back at the mako specs part of the mako site, there's a 250 Cuddy model listed in '89 that has the same measurements as a 258. I suspect it's actually labeled correctly, but that there was a wonky run of model numbers from the factory around '88-90 model years as the 250 Walkaround came about and the 258 model went away.
