Its a pretty clever system of sliding inserts that get bolted together. It allows the top to be completely removed, reinstalls fast, and cant/doesnt rattle at all.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I must need to double check my notification preferences.
Here's a close-up of one of the sliding posts. Each log leg of the t-top has one of these solid aluminum posts that slides up into the upper leg, then you bolt it in with stainless bolts. It's a 2-person job getting the top up, but it goes pretty fast and is very sturdy.
Here's a picture of it connected (though you may notice the t-top is upside down in my garage in this pic)
