  • Bracket and Swim platform

    87" Swim platform

Grady Drive - Looks to be 14deg but it was a little tough measuring with everything on the boat- still air tight. When you remove a screw in the pie plate it still hisses. Needs to be recoated, but no major corrosion.

    Make an offer.

Is the platform made of fiberglass and the bracket metal?

Yes. It's a factory aluminum bracket and separate fiberglass swim platform. The bracket needs to be painted/coated again. I peeled some of it off that bubbled.

How do I get in touch with you? I have a few more questions on the bracket and I'm looking at a new project that may need a bracket.

Any idea on the weight and how much setback from the stern, plus a few more questions.

It's 30" setback and is a little over 14deg. I can get an estimate on weight once I remove it.

            For anyone considering this bracket...

Grady sourced these from Gil Marine. Had one on my old Sailfish and it was a nice piece. The coating isn't paint, nor is it powder. It's some sort of proprietary rubbery stuff they called "Gilcoat".

            The platform was Grady-built.

I called Sarasota Linex and they wanted a grand to coat. I paid them $550 to do my truck. Stick to Yellowfin boys...geez
