Was the set-back designed with intention of leaving transom open?

No, designed for best handling characteristics. Boat is a trailer queen, never needed full tilt up. It will get within a few inches of full up with the transom enclosure.

Any interest in slapping it on a pallet and sending it to Texas?

Off topic...Do you get water over the back? My bracket splashes under when at anchor in a 2 or 3 ft chop.

I would ship if you payed for it. I got rid of the pallet it was shipped to me on, so Id have to make another.

Snapper, I used to get some over the back. Did a starboard transom enclosure and now everything works great.

just read your ad on THT. so, this one is identical to the one you have mounted on your boat? I also have a 221 and have been considering a bracket. looks like this would fit perfectly...

Yes bracket is identical and our boats are identical as well. This would be a perfect fit.

Sharp: I didnt get the email. Try again [email protected]

I'm glad you received good service from A&J. I'll never recommend them to anyone. The sad part it, it's a beautiful piece of kit. I couldn't be happier with the bracket. Their service was horrible. I went 10 rounds with them over the garbage hardware they sold me to install it. I'll never do business with them again!
