  • Grady White 24 Offshore - Transom redone

I recently purchased a GW 240 Offshore strictly for the motor, controls, and gauges for another project I have underway.

Thinking the hull would be like any other old waterlogged GW, much to my surprise the previous owner had the transom completely redone and also replaced the gas tank. The cockpit floor has been patched here and there but could use some additional attention. Otherwise the hull is solid and all there.

In 2010 the transom was replaced at a cost of $7000- work was performed by RAYBO in Lindenhurst, NY.

The aluminum gas tank is 95 gallon from RDS in Florida, again replaced in 2010.

There is a bimini top with all drop curtains and I believe an entire helm cover. It also has Lee Outriggers which will go with the boat. There is no trailer but I have a trailer for my 28' that someone could use to transport.

If you (or know someone) are looking for a project/hull this boat has had what I think the hardest part already done by probably the best in the business.

Currently the boat is in the water behind my house and being used through the end of the season, so there is no rush to sell but I want to get feelers out to the community before I list it anywhere else.

I am open to ALL offers at this point- and please feel free to come see the boat and/or ask as many questions as you want. The boat is behind my house in Massapequa, Long Island, 40 miles east of NYC.

So just to be clear this is for the hull minus engine and rigging...but steering stays.
