  • 13 Whaler 40hp motor and trailer - under agreement

I'm selling my 13' Whaler with 40hp Johnson because I just purchased a 15' Whaler over the weekend. This Whaler underwent a full restoration and was featured on the Whaler Central website and another site as well. Trailer has a new axle, hubs, LED lights, winch, hitch, tongue jack and tires are less than 2 years old. The motor has power trim and tilt, prop is perfect (no nicks), electric start. Motor run great and starts right up. The interior is custom and utilizes a non-skid and Whaler shadow logo in the bow. Seats are brand new mahogany with 5 coats of SPAR varnish, follow with 3 coats of sprayed urethane clear. The design is similar to the supersport, but without the storage behind the seat to make room for a 12 gallon low profile tank. You can run the boat all day and not use all the gas. Comes with a Raymarine ST-60 TriData unit that provides speed, depth and water temp. I have a book of manuals and receipts that go with the boat. Comes with lines, paddle and horn. I'm sure there are thing I'm forgetting, so feel free to contact me with questions. This boat was primarily used on Rock Haven Lake in Maine and also several other NH lakes with some use in the Salem Sound area. Priced at $6,400.

That boat is worth every penny of asking price. It won't last long.

I often refer to them as "gold bricks" as they hold value better than any boat out there. Due to timing, I think it will get stored and relisted in the spring as out season is winding down and kids are back in school.

They will run in some skinny waters on plane, once you drop off, then it's 5" of hull + whatever amount of motor is in the water based on the trim angle of the motor.

Yes, with 40hp she moves quick. We can have 4 people in the boat and tow two tubes without any issue. Here's drone vid of it running on a Maine Lake (see min 1:30).

Prime season and it would have sold here at well, but when kids head back to school, most buyers shun boats. Had it been a month earlier, it'd be gone by now. CraigsList is also loaded with end of season selling. I'll wrap and store it and then list in the spring and hold my price.
