  • WTB windshield

    Hey guys,
Just tossing this out there. I am looking for one of the metal framed windshields. I have a standard plexiglass one that came on my boat back in the day. I am not looking for one from a CPAC console the won't fit they way I want, most anything else should fit.

    Thanks
    Dan

Maybe, but probably not. Does your windshield have the glass integrated into the metal frame? This style was more common on boats from the 1980s. But maybe yours is not original. I am looking for something like this.

I might have one that would work. Came off a '91 241 . I am leaning towards not putting it back on

I think that my console and yours are different and I am not sure it will work, but who knows. Let me know when you decide what you are doing with it and I can figure out if it will work. Thanks for keeping me in mind!

Fandarr, I have your windshield. It was once the original Mako Brown. I repainted it in a dark blue to match my hull after I painted the hull. It's in excellent condition. I am in the process of trying to buy my damaged 1984 21B from the insurance company. If successful I will be parting her out. Go to the thread https://forum.classicmako.com/forum/classicmako-com-forums/mako-projects/13156-close-in-stern-of-21b-good-or-bad-idea to see my whole project and improvements to see the windshield or anything else you might want. I'll get back to you as soon as I know if I'm going to be able to break the boat up for parts.

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about the boat that really stinks. I looked at your project thread and you certainly put in the work on that boat, it looks great. Keep me posted as things progress and let me know what you would be asking for the windshield, hopefully we can work something out.

Thanks for the offer. That is not quite what I am looking for, that C-PAC style windshield won't fit my console.
