Wow,we are getting hosed this year too.I confirmed my condo back in July but now it appears I'm being inexplicably bumped. Scrambling now to stay on at SPC but we may have to move too.

No.I have stayed in this same condo for the last 7 years.New owner took over 3 years ago.I have always dealt with owner directly.I have, what I thought,a very good reputation with owner(s) and therefore a deposit was never required.I guess that's partly my fault for assuming they would hold up their end of the bargain.

Hopefully this will get resolved. Alternative plan is Jake may be doing a lot of late night ferrying. []

I'm really gonna miss staying at SPC. I've stayed there every year since 2009.It's as much a part of the trip as the trip itself.

Has to be other options. Our first year we stayed beach front. It was fine and would do again. Drive over to get on boat. Thats what we did.

Amys uncle from Arkansas just reserved a studio last night at SPC. Will be 4 of them. Should be a good crowd this year. Jesse and his family from PA are hauling their boat down again.

Well I just confirmed reservation and dock slip. Destin it is again for this group. ready for the announcement of Red Snapper.

                            troy,

I have stayed in building 18 and 9. those have 2 bedrooms and a loft with beds upstairs. Great for two families. Also stayed in 4108 over looking Tennis courts. those all have trailer parking. If I am not on the canal I would do the Lagoon. More space.

I wish it was fishy business. At this moment,I'm really not staying at SPC this year. The rates have increased across the board and my usual condo has been double booked.I'm currently at odds with SPC as a whole.I have penciled in reservations at a condo off property and that's the current plan.Things could change as they always do,but currently no fishy business.
