  • Tournament inside a tournament

For those headed to Destin this year I am sponsoring a tournament inside a tournament for those that head offshore. Since Large wahoo and Dolphin are not as common as those rat kings at the inlet[xx(] this will give us a little more then bragging rights and hope to create some more dock talk.

Good job on the trophies.I'd like to hitch a ride on Broken Arrow and see if we can steam toward Portugal.

Trolling season is about 1.5 months out for the real action. My rods will get plenty of warm-ups prior to Destin. Re-did all my dredges and teasers. Outriggers all adjusted. Looking for a new mount to my center rigger. Yep I plan on winning these! I guess I should just leave them at home. less packing.....

Seems we may a have a few more boats headed out. May need to come up with a guideline as to when the offshore starts. No reason to wait to the Tuesday Captains meeting. heck half my week is over by then.

I am posting fishing information in another thread for those not familiar with offshore Florida fishing. Hopefully we can have a little excitement with the offshore crowd. Weather is shaping up and seas have a nice forecast for the first part of the week.
