Destin Funament June 19-26, 2021

it looks like we most likely have a scaled back version this year. Probably meet ups at noriega point, crab island, trying for a mid week lunch cruise and lots of fishing with maybe some verbal bragging rights towards the end of the week. We have went all out in years past but I think low key and getting together will be the ticket for 2021

Most of us stay at Sandpiper Cove. It has a ramp,dockage and some condos allow for trailer parking.This is a very laid back family-oriented funament. There are lots of things to do so you won't any problem finding things. We all hang out together quite a bit at the sandbar and we eat together a lot as well. Where are you traveling from?

Sorry, probably should have included that. I've never been able to make it for a Funament but I'm dying to. Places to stay for starters. Where do most people get a place at? We wold only be able to make it for about 3 nights. I'm mainly just interested in meeting all of you fine folks, hanging at the sandbar while the kids play and possibly poking out for some fishing depending on how far youd have to go. I've never been out to Destin and know zero about the area.

I will hopefully be in the Bahamas on Bimini from the 23rd to the 27th. Stupid rona canceled the trip last year so fingers crossed that we get to go this year. It's the annual "Crossing For A Cure" for cystic fibrosis. I'll be doing the support boat thing for my crew who will be crossing the gulf stream from Bimini to Lake Worth FL

My 2 year old boy Marlin loves the boats lol. We had him in the duck blind at 10 months, loves the ranch, and loves the gulf. He’s spoiled and gets to hang out on the big sport fish boats I work on. And my girl Mellie just turned 1 month old. As soon as my 19 is put back together, it’s showtime. Maybe we will make it this year 🤞🏻

Freespool....my daughter was three weeks old when we drove down. Changed diapers on the tail gate. She had her first boat ride on TC within hours of pulling into sandpiper.

How much fun would this be!?! We’re over here in Texas on the coast. Once my kids are a little older, I’ll definitely do this with them! I’ve got a 1976 19 and my dad has a 23 inboard. I’ll be telling the wife about this
