I have the dates and booked already. Canal condos are going fast. Just figured we needed some new threads about Destin. How was teh Wahoo fishing this October?

          Motel 6? Huh?

Dude the only reason they leave the light on is so you don't see the cock roaches

I have stayed at the Destin Motel 6 and it was a good experience. clean rooms, and not too noisy. ended up being about 80 bucks a night. Options at this point are wide open...

How much time do you need?[]

Destin is already weekly discussions in our house and we are ready to leave.

I'm still on the outside looking in as far as SPC goes.I'm not very happy about losing my regular condo.

There are several nice ones still there. But I know the feeling good of having same condo. This will be year 3 in this one. We went 3 years with a different one each time. I did like the lagoon but missed canal life

No,it wasn't you.The owner sold the condo and new owner has not decided to rent yet.

I've found one canal condo and I'm currently inquiring about. The issue is there is no cancellation allowed. Not that I plan to,I just don't like feeling cornered.I've reluctantly started looking at other properties.[xx(]

You cant look at other properties. Not the same with Out Doc Fees at the canal.

We have stayed beached side and another by one of the pools. I had no issues with location. I wouldn't go off SPC just because of not getting a canal property. My family enjoyed beach front and we drove or walked over to the boat

I get what you're saying, but I need it to be as seamless as possible.I love SPC for lots of reasons, but one of the main ones is that it has the ramp, dock and capability to store trailer. If I have to go off property to store trailer then it creates a bit of a snag in my planning.
