    Destin Funament Weather Warning

    We are under a small craft warning so for those coming in early, I wouldn't plan on fishing yet.

    ONE IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN - Please be very careful anchoring/swimming along deep shoals, such as the Southern side of Crab Island or any where along the shores of the Pass. There is a lot of water that moves across and around crab island and especailly though the Destin Pass creating quick undertows. Last month a young man was standing near the edge of the deep water and swept away by the current and drown. This happened last summer to a child along the edge of the Destin Pass as well, so please be very carefull.

    Have FUN but please be careful.

    Destin Pass can be EXTREMELY dangerous with an incoming sea and an outgoing tide. Be very cautious entering and exiting the Pass at these times. Hopefully the seas will subside sooner then expected!

                According to FB,Lulu's is supposed to open on Monday.


                Don't expect to go there by boat. the only docking is over at Legendary and I don't think they are going to allow people to use their docks. The water in front is very shallow so you could anchor and walk in..... Really not sure what they were thinking with this one and I hope plans are in for a dock as it would be a great destination by boat.

                      We are headed to Lulus tomorrow so they can practice on us for lunch. We will let everyone know how it goes! I'll ask them about docking too.

                          Yep, they are doing several practice sessions this weekend.

                          Eastpass can be very nasty especially during an outgoing tide and SW winds even when it is fairly nice offshore. Take care!
