Any ideas for dates next year? I'm sure it will be basically the same time,but I was just curious.I'm already getting geared up for it.

How did everyone like SPC as the location? Anything you want the management to know, anything they could do better, amenities, etc.?

How was the canal? Did it work out for everyone?

I loved it just as always.My only gripe is the same one every year but it appears will never be resolved.....trailer parking.

I was happy with SPC. They allowed us to launch early before we checked in and to retrieve the boat late in the afternoon after we checked out that morning. But they were too uptight about us leaving the trailer under the condo even though no one was occupying the unit. Seems they thought it would hinder the cleaning crew's places to park. We rented from a real estate company located across the street and they allowed us to park the trailer there the first and last day (before and after check-out). The canal was a great place to keep the boat docked. Though our unit was not on the canal, we were still close.

The long no wake ride does kind of suck a little. I wondered if there might be a more convenient facility that would have the same advantages as SPC...not sure there is one.

I guess it is too much to ask SPC to move closer to the pass?[]

They tried to charge me 150 a night for trailer storage.. I had my bank dispute the charges..I'm definitely gonna get another unit next year b.c they were re shingling my roof at 6am then pressure washing my deck.. I like where Tims condo was very convent..

Chuck, I dont mind that cruze, in fact its enjoyable. I'm on vacation and not in a hurry.

I'll cantact SPC about the trialer thing but I doubt I will get any further. I parked mine under the condo so it was no issue but no all condos have that option.

That is the difference between 1 teenager and 2 toddlers. A 3 and 4 year old just don't have the patience for it and about half way through they have caused mama not to have patience for it either[B)]. Luckily I have to run the boat [].

I am checking with the chefs from last year on the dates and if they want to give it a go next year, as well as the main man and his schedule. I sent SPC a note about the trailer situation but I really dont think there is much they can do. When I was out and about I noticed some of the resorts next to SPC dont allow trailers/boats on site AT ALL.
