  • 2011 Funamemt - kudos!

Triplecrown did an awesome job with the Funament this year as did everyone else who helped out. Having organized the event since the start seven years ago, I can say this was the best Funament yet and not only has the torch been passed but it is shining brightly!!!!

    Looking forward to next year!

Amen to that Sailor! This was our first Funament and we had a great time. It was a hoot getting to meet all you folks. I think y'all ruined me - next trip to Destin will not be nearly as much fun.

I really appreciate all the hard work that some of the guys put into this event...David, you did a great job running the show. Take a well deserved break this week. Artie and Eddie, thanks for hosting the Wednesday night get together. Leo & Ed, Y'all did an awesome job on the pig and banquet. Thanks to all the others that worked hard behind the scenes.

No doubt Dave did a great job... A fantastic job. Thanks for your efforts in the past Steve, you left big shoes to fill for sure.

We really had a good time this year, and I was glad to get my kids out for this event again. I just wish I could have seen more of everyone. But with kids, you have to go on their schedule. As they get bigger they will be able to do more and longer.

Special thanks to Ed Cox and Leo Hamel for going above and beyond on the banquet. They put in MANY HOURS by the hot cooker to make the food for the banquet, and it was simply fabulous. Thanks guys.

Thanks to all who set up, helped during, & stayed for clean up. Names that come to mind are Amy Sarvese, Mrs. TinyMako (can't recall Mark's bride's name), and Artie.

See you all next year. We will try to get the dates nailed down within the next month.
