    dave...

Great news Dave! I really hope things work out. As for the boat...I know the trailer is prepared for the trip, so maybe I can get some 1st hand experience of a bracketed 224?[][]

I was thinking about you guys the other day, how's Tim? Isn't this Senior year?[]

It appears Chuck that you have started "fishing" early. heheh Yes it is Tims Senior year and we are going out to Moab at the end of this month for a "grand adventure" with dirt bikes, Jeeps, OB1Jeeper, cousins, inlaws, we are heading out with everything but a boat.

If I do show up with some kind of boat can we count on you to lead us to the fish????

Working on some reservations. How is the Docking at SPC? The condo we are looking at faces the bay but "has canal dock". Does each unit get a space or what? We are looking to stay from the 23-30. Any trailer parking? My wife is handling correspondence but I want to know some first hand knowledge. thanks

Probably means you are on the NorthWest corner of SPC. The "canal" runs east-west....

Parking trailers at SPC is a no-no. There are storage facilities and a few guys in the area they may be able to help. You can offer Chuck's beer as a trade..... []

No you need to reserve a space. We own a condo there and a couple of years ago the owners got together and booted out all the boats that were taking up all the space. I actually used this event as an example of why we needed to open up the canal in a presentation to the board. So now you can get a spot except on the busiest weekends of the year. You do have to pay a small fee now though but it is worth it to have a dock, water, etc., to bring your boat back to while visiting the area. The only negative is the harbor is idle speed only and SPC is all the way in the very back of end of the harbor. Expect a 20 to 30 minute commute to the pass.

To make a reservation go to:

          http://www.sandpipercove.com/slips_main.php

It works great and you get a guaranteed spot once you reserve. What unit are you looking at? North or south side of the canal?

There is no trailer parking but there is a very nice ramp that you can use. I've parked my trailer behind the West Marine and never had a problem. There are places where you can lock your trailer up if you want to pay.

Awesome Ben Thanks. The pickins were pretty slim in our price range so I think we are getting a "studio". Don't know any other specifics but will let you know when I do[]

The 2 bedrooms on the canal that are on the first floor have parking up under them. Well the year before last I was able to park my trailer under the condo. I hope nothing has changed. That idle speed ride is long but scenic. We are in rm. 4108. Anyone going to be at spc during the week. I'm going to be grilling and frying a couple nights, drinking BL's every night at the boat...

                DB,

I am staying in 1050 at SPC.You mentioned parking the trailer at West Marine? I have a more secure place to park it for the week, but the night I arrive will be a little much to try and shuttle it over there so West Marine sounds like a great overnight option.Do you feel this is a good idea?

Fear not boys, he is still recovering from his Triple Lendy off the bow of the 221. I'd say, even with the wiffle bat, you all are safe.
