            Steve,

what do you think about an idea that has a CM member's boat on the shirt every year. Just an idea that would have to be framed somehow. So its been restored, it voted on or its selected through some contest, or its drawn random from a resto selection, or something like that. Could start with Temperance! Just an idea.

Ummmmmm... just by the lack of committee, I bet Temperance will be on the shirt next year. More for the gratification of Eddie finally having a boat that was actually there to take pictures of. He's waited a long time for the opportunity. They won't be able to do the boat justice though with ink and pen. []

Just for the record, I think Rude has the record so far being on 3 shirts. []

The design this year is excellent and maybe Eddie or Steve will tell the story of selection.

Best thing is folks are already thinking about next year. The ride home was long, but the condo is booked already for next year. [8D]

Funny thing about the shirt design, Eddie said he didn't have any plans yet, so I sent him two of my all time favorite Mako pictures and he picked one of them.... I like the idea of a contest for the boat picture. I may have to take that to the committee for discussion. [8D]

Hey a contest is a great idea! A seperate thread dedicated to the pictures would be awesome!! Would members vote or the committee? I have to say that Im like a proud daddy to have my 'Natural' on this years shirt. Its like one of your daughters that has left your home and is makin you proud...I no longer own her but after owning her for 12 years, shes still part of the family. Heres a pic of my son who is now 8 asleep in his favorite spot at the time...the transom fishbox of the 236! And a pic right before I sold her, fresh Imron hull, topsides and tower!! She was sharp!!

I like the idea of a CM vote for next year's shirt. Perhaps a STICKY could be put in place for a vote. If the vote came down to a close tie, just put both boats on the shirt. Very cool idea overall[)][]

Can't stop laughing at the baby in the fish box, having said that my wife would inflict midnight surgery on me for that!

Lets do some sort of contest or vote or something. Its got to be framed somehow around restos and I bet we can get some really cool ideas on this![]

Ha! At least you have bottom paint! [B)]

Dad took Loco over to the paint guy to have the bottom finished and, can't blame him, it's on hold, too hot to paint.[B)]
