    Can anyone give any locations as to where to inshore for reds in Destin.I'm planning on staying in and fishing close by.I want to be able to cruise the area as well.

    Troy - some of the best red fishing is near the Destin Pass. During the summer months they will head to the bayous as well as along the docks following the Intercoastal waterway. Go to www.halfhitch.com and look at the archived reports for June in Destin. That will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect and where to go.

    The flats north of Crab Island are great for fishing early before all the jet skis and pontoon boats arive.

        My buddy just sent me pictures of five of the six reds he caught within 100 yards of the Destin Bridge...all were 28 - 30 inches and too big to be kept. []

        I am sure when the funament gets closer crew will be easy to find.
