Fisherman catches bag full of drugs

A man fishing in a stream near Hauser Road snagged quite a catch, Bay County Sheriff’s deputies wrote in an incident report. The man hooked a plastic bag full of what he believed to be illicit drugs. The man threw it back but called deputies to the scene.

The deputies recovered the bag and found more than $1,500 worth of marijuana and cocaine. The drugs weighed 435.8 grams and are now in evidence control at the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
