From Half Hitch Tackle Destin fishing report:
Again a good week of fishing, the offshore scene has really kicked off with a bang. There are good amounts of wahoo and dolphin between the nipple and the spur. The Kings have been very good in the broken bottom and the Spanish are good trolling near shore. The cobia bite is still very strong. On the bottom fishing side snapper have been fair and grouper ok, once we get off the full moon they should be back strong. In the surf the pompano bite is very, very good and some sharks. Out on the pier they have caught cobia, kings, pompano, Spanish and hardtails almost every day, the weather looks good all weekend so things should stay very good for a few months now.
