  • Thanks for the pics and fun...

It was great meeting everyone at the cookout Saturday night and looking over all the famous Classic Makos that were around. The only problem is that I've now seen some more things that are going to cost me time and money on my project boat.[]

Who knows how much extra time and money I've spent on my project just because I happened to stumble into this place by accident. It never occurred to me that there would be a bunch of crazies out there doing the same thing when I started my project a few years ago. [:x)]

RudeAttitude - Nathan talked incessantly about your little puppy and how he was going to get one soon [:u]. And Ringleader, thanks for steering him towards that huge Bass Pro Shops sticker - he found a zillion places to stick it when we got home last night. There is some serious negotiating going on now [88].

Warthog, after looking over XShark that thing is the real deal! The curves, thought and detail that went into are beyond the ability of pictures to describe. Absolutely fantastic! But I do have a question - where did you get those really cool cup holders [(#)]?

MichiganDave, you're the best fry cook around. I'm thinking SpongBob doesn't have anything on you. But, I'm worried about your mechanical aptitude and dealing with that fire thing[:u][88].

Chris, the grilling machine - I need to visit around your camp fire more often. Some good eats!

Sailor, that was one well done party. The planning and organization that went into it must have consumed a ton of your time. Thanks for putting on a great tournament and get-together!

Can't wait to do it again!

That is one of the best things about the Funament - getting to meet people in person and putting a face with a name.

I didn't think it took too much time, but my son did start calling me "uncle Stephen"!! [:x)][88][:u]

I remember one Mako Funament in Destin when I was about your son's age and I can still remember how much fun I had there and how cool it was seeing all the Mako's tied up at the dock. I set that as my goal and try to make it something that the kids will remember 20 years from now. If that happens, then it was a success.

Hey... Thats what I'm here for! [] Your son is a very nice young man. He sure is proud of dad's boat too! [)] (Awesome boat!) I tacked my sticker up on a cork board for a few years until I got into college and just went ahead and peeled the backng off and afixed it to my file cabinet.[]

It was great meeting you guys!
