I need some serious help. I recently came across a 1997 295 side console model Mako. Its powered by twin 250 Yamaha HPDI outboards on the original bracket. This is a sick looking boat and I love the layout BUT, I took it for a test drive recently and discovered it practically KEELS OVER at any speed above 8 knts. The trimtabs are in working order but no matter how hard I tried or how many people i put on the port side the starboard side just stuck to the water. I need some serious help, either advice on trimtabs or if there is some crazy think the factory put on the starboard side or any ideas on how to fix it. ive tried trimming the outboards as well as the tabs, and there is no excess water i can find trapped in the hull. It has been stored on a rack outside for a LONG time.
